Building 93 KPPC 2022
Building 93 is a 13-story neoclassic building constructed in 1939. In its heyday the building was used for patient housing. Abandoned in 1996, It’s an excellent opportunity for landscape photography. This scene contained little color but lots of texture and vibe against the overcast skies.

A sample shot this evening from a new Nikon Mirrorless Z6II and 24-70 lens. The camera is on consignment from the great folks at Nikon USA. I'll be putting this through some work scattered around the Island for 2 weeks. We’ll see how this modern Mirrorless camera performs and what kind of fun stuff we can accomplish.
For this photo. I’m low as I can go using it’s flip down monitor which was delightful as far as knees are concerned. Hope I can adapt well to this newer technology.

Ready Set GO...
Ocean Parkway is a 15.59-mile parkway which runs through both Nassau and Suffolk, on the South Shore of Long Island, New York. Ocean Parkway begins at Jones Beach State Park, where the Meadowbrook State Parkway connects with the Bay Parkway. Approximately one mile to the east, Ocean Parkway encounters the Wantagh State Parkway at the Water Tower traffic circle. For the next 13 miles, the parkway crosses beachfront communities, local beaches and Gilgo State Park.
The parkway intersects the Robert Moses Causeway at a cloverleaf before terminating at Captree State Park. Ocean Parkway is a barrier island location, and it is subject to frequent closures during winter months. The parkway is a fragile beach dune, only five feet of elevation that separates it from the beach and the Atlantic Ocean.

anfords Marina "Gas House" and the Port Jefferson Ferry boat PT Barnum.
The first president of The Bridgeport & Port Jefferson Steamboat Co. was circus impresario, P. T. Barnum. Named in his honor, this ferry began transiting the Bridgeport, CT to Port Jefferson, NY route in 1999. Measuring 300 ft. by 52 ft. by 12 ft. she is capable of holding up to 120 vehicles and 1,000 passengers. Bringing the fleet total to three, the company could now offer hourly service for the first time.
